 Sunshine Coast Gran Fondo Project

The Rotary Club of Sechelt and Off the Edge Adventure Sports are exploring the idea of developing a Gran Fondo on the Coast.  The event would take place in September 2013. We need an expression of volunteer support to help staff the traffic management and support stations.

That's why we created a petition to Tom Pinfold, Rotary Club of Sechelt, President-elect, which says:

"Yes, I would be pleased to volunteer in support of  the Coast Gran Fondo in September 2013."

Sign petition here.

Last evening we did our first highway cleanup for 2013, with oddly enough 13 highway cleaners present.

The work was done quickly, leaving more time for fun and fellowship at the Roberts Creek Legion, where they

did us proud with their excellent food service.

See the smiling Mike Ryan dealing with clean up students below. They respond quickly to his teaching.

We can only hope that Rotary in Oliver is ready to receive his smiles, jokes and teachings.

Not long ago, the Coast Fiddlers visited one of our meetings for new recruits and presented their young up and coming fiddlers.
